Excursion Martvili Canyon, Rukhi fortress, Sisatura ethnomuseum “Heart of Megrelia” is a one-day tour, the highlight of which is an ethno museum in nature and master classes of Megrelian cuisine.

One day excursion to Megrelia. Picturesque nature, emerald water, high rocks hanging over the Abasha River, which for thousands of years made its way through the rocks, attracts a large number of guests of our country. Be sure to take a ride with this beauty on a boat, as at the end of the path you will find a 12-meter waterfall that does not fall to the bottom carrying a huge mass of water. The Rukhi fortress was built by the Megrelian prince Levan Dadiani. From the walls of the fortress you can see the valley of the Inguri river, which wavers in front of your eyes with a light haze.

In the ethno museum you will have a feast with tasting of Megrelian cuisine, as well as a master class on making such exquisite dishes as gebjaliya and elardzhi.

In the 16-17 centuries, this place was considered a city. The fortress was built in 1647 by the Megrelian prince Levan Dadiani.
